My spare cupboard with some of the goodies I made this year..

 
 
 





 

 Cook chicken, garlic, onion & mushroom.
Add cream, s&p and dry chicken stock.
Mix through and cool completely.
 Cut pastry sheets in ½ then ½ again making a square.
Place some cold mixture in middle and fold over
Moisturizing the edges with a little egg.
Prick several holes and brush egg over top
Of pastry with  bush seasoning sprinkled over egg.
 Cook in mod oven until pastry cooked… 20/25 minutes.

  Apple Crumble
½ cup coconut                   ½ cup brown sugar
¾ cup plain flour            ¾ cup S.R flour
Golden syrup                       margarine

Rub butter with coconut, sugar, and flours.
Add syrup and a little water if needed.
Spread onto apples and cinnamon and cook
in mod oven. Can use tin apples.

Bacon Toast
 ½ lb cheese (grated)
½ lb bacon diced
2 tbls tomato sauce
2 tbls Worcestershire sauce
Pepper & salt & pepper 1 egg
Bread
 
Toast bread lightly and
 mix together all other ingredients
Spread on toast.
Cook in oven until cheese melts
and mixture cooks.
 
Can add chutney, mushrooms,
onion, capsicum ect

Curried Sausages
1 kg sausages                          Chicken stock
Mixed vegetables                    Assorted sauces
Potatoes                                  Salt and pepper
Boil sausages & peel skins off.
Place in pot, sliced sausages, water, chicken stock, curry powder, potatoes and vegetables.
Boil until vegetables soft, add sauces, s&p and a thickener if needed (plain flour and water).
Sauces : oyster, chutney, Worcestershire, chilli,  soya, chicken noodle soup, anything ,really.

               My Noodles
 
Egg noodles             Onion
Ham/bacon             Oyster sauce
3 eggs                      Sesame oil
Cook noodles in boiling water and drain.
Cut up ham/bacon onion and fry in pan.
Add noodles and stir. Pour beaten eggs over
Noodles and let set for a few minutes.
Turn mixture over slowly and gently stir thru.
Mix through sesame oil and oyster sauce.
 
Add mushrooms, capsicum, vegetables..

White Bait Patties
 

White Bait

2 or 3 tbls plain flour

1 egg

Salt & pepper

 
Add altogether.  Place a large tablespoon  in a

little hot oil and cook, turning once.

Easy Vanilla Slice

2 pkt vanilla instant pudding

2 pkt sao biscuits

300ml cream

600ml milk

Icing sugar
 

Line a 10 x 12 tray with foil and place ½ of the

sao’s in bottom of the tray.

Make up pudding as per pkt directions

using ½ milk and ½ cream and pour

over sao’s.  cover with rest of sao’s,

ice and put into fridge to set.

                           Egg Flower Soup
 
  • Chicken stock
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • Spring onion
  • Sesame oil
  • Finely chopped ham
  • Champion mushroom sliced thinly
 
  1. Heat chicken stock and water in a pot until nearly boiling.
  2. Trickle eggs in slowly (little at a time)  until eggs start to set, then stir gently.
  3. Using a whisk pour in slurry (cornflour mixed with water) stir until desired consistency
  4. Add ham and mushrooms cook for a minute.
  5. Add sesame oil and spring onion.
       (warning: sesame oil is very strong)
                                             
       **Can use this recipe to make corn soup just
          add small can creamed corn and take out ham.

Melt butter, caramels and marshmallows.
Stir into rice bubbles.
Spread on tray and cut into sq’s.
Sprinkle over Hundred and Thousands

Crepe  Batter
 
3 eggs
300ml water
300ml milk
1 dsp oil
2 ¼ cup plain flour
 
Beat first 4 ingredients then
mix in flour and stir well.

Use as a basis for your crepe's..

Pumpkin Soup
 
Boil together potatoes, pumpkin, carrot, swede and onion with chicken stock until soft.
Add salt & pepper and puree together. Serve with a little cream.
Serve with dinner rolls or toasted/crotons.

This recipe I cased from Facebook, unfortunately the time I received this I could not find the original post.


1 Cup sugar

Directions 


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix first 5 dry ingredients in a greased 8" square baking pan.  Make 3 depressions in dry ingredients - two small, one larger (see #3 in photo below). Pour vinegar in one depression, vanilla in the other and the vegetable oil in third larger depression.  Pour water over all.  Mix well until smooth.

Bake on middle rack of oven for 35 minutes.  Check with toothpick to make sure it comes out clean. Cool.  Top with your favorite frosting.  Enjoy!
