Hi all,
Here we are with another project for AVSC with the gorgeous Love Notes from Graphic 45..
I adore Graphic 45 papers and accessories.
You are not going to believe it but when I ordered the letter grid board from Aunty Vera, I did not realise just how big it was. It is gorgeous and so much fun to do.. I hope you like it..
Note : HEAVY PHOTO POST
So here is what happened... I started to spray paint this board and ran out of paint, I thought ok it's good enough.. I left it outside to dry while I did other things.I hear an almighty clap of thunder and then the rain bucketed down.. I'm sitting at the desk thinking yah water for my tanks and what garden I do have when it dawned on me.. Yep the board was still out side.. I runs out in the pouring rain to get it takes it in the studio and it's warped all out of shape.. Oh no !! I thought Aunty Vera is going to kill me.. I let it dry then glued it together with E6000 and placed bull clips all around it and placed something heavy on it.. Did it work? You bet it did lol (no heads rolling here Aunty Vera Phew!! )..
You can just see the hearts under the lace in this photo.

I cut 20 pieces of paper to fit in the grid board.
I placed these in the squares as shown after inking around them with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
If you would like to know which dies I used on any of these please leave me a message and I
will get back to you to let you know ...
You are not going to believe this either.. I wanted to use the gorgeous stencil I received in the kit and forgot to do it on the paper BEFORE I glued them down. SO you will see very odd shapes indeed as I had to try and squeeze the template in the small areas and spread the Modelling Paste mixed with a little Lava Red Inka Gold. Rustic I will say x
The finished Sections.. Everything on this board has 3D foam tape and foam under them to lift and give some dimensions to the project..Also a little bling, glitter and dimensional magic make it stand out that fraction more..( who doesn't love all of that)..
I made this heart with 4 circles and a square..
You can actually do this two ways.
1. Cut a 1 3/4 square and four 1 3/4 inch circles. I joined them together as show to create a template.
The second way is to draw a square and trace around a circle (here I used a paint lid)
I then traced it onto good cardstock and inked around the edges as well as the two folds..
Voila it's finished.. Just adhere a little glue under the top folded side (only on the other folded piece as this then gives you a pocket).
Love Love this die from AVSC
I know this might look a bit plain but it has lots of depth and the keys are all shiny..
Three handmade roses, die cut leaves and little left over bits from the clock frame gives this one a little added extra..
Two tags joined, One with a border filled with dew drops and the other a heart lace die cut.
A tag with a banner and a dragonfly makes this a cute little pocket.
Of course I could not go without making a shaker card .. I really love this and all those little hearts in the shaker are glass.. Cute as..
A chipboard piece surround by the clock frame . How gorgeous is this..
I created this little pocket with some gold lace and the notes coming out of the pocket..A black rose and well, what else do you need..
A butterfly is pretty on this though the photo does not do it justice .( my son has a new camera I might have to borrow it for a few moments lol).
Again using another clock frame to showcase this gorgeous metal embellishment..
A chipboard tag, some bling and a music note, done and dusted..
A lace heart, a punched heart and a small chipboard makes this one so pretty..
I adore this material rose and wanted to showcase it by something very simple by using corners to frame it ..
I love this lace and just knew I wanted to use it and here it is , perfect with the roses..See the hearts in the background that I had stencilled on..
I always love making these doilies thingy's and with the tag and postage stamp behind it thought it looked great.. Tiny tiny pearls finished it I think..
A pocket with two tags and some dyed seam binding looks wonderful..
This was a happy coincidence, I tore this off a embossed image gone wrong and happen to put it on a square.. That was it, I sponged it with Abandoned Coral Distress Ink and look how wonderful it turned out..
Another butterfly with a natural paper background. This one I really like..
I love this lace and in front of the embossed hearts looks perfect.. A chipboard tag and some bling sets the whole thing off nicely..
Two photos of all the squares..
The Finished Grid Board with a border on the bottom and punched hearts over the board..
