A Favour Box and Card.. Ephemoire

Hi all,

I have some exciting news, I have been selected to be on the design team for Ephemoire which is a digital art group.. link here:  Ephemoire  

For these projects I am using the Printable Journal Kit - St Patrick's Day Shamrocks - 5x7 Papers - Irish Eyes - Journal Insert - Collage - Journaling - Scrap - Junk Journal .. This kit really has a lot of elements and I hope I can do it justice with my projects..

Favour Box:  
I wanted to do a little mixed media with this but have nothing irish in my stash so what to do??
Well I placed a sheet of acetate over some of the wonderful papers and drew around the shamrocks with a permanent pen and cut them out with a craft knife and scissors.. Voila - a shamrock stencil..

They may not be perfect but it works and because I used a hard acetate
I can re -use this many times..

Front of the favour box and as I adored this image I chose to showcase it.on the box.

I added a piece of paper doily and a fussy circle behind her to give some interest..  

Back of the favour box. A simple ribbon is all it needed as this is how the box lays..

A side view, I added a handmade shamrock.

I finished with a very simple card.. A little string, glossy accents and some 3D foam tape 

and the card was done.. I like it..
