Christmas Ornaments - Couture Creations

 Hi all,

Can you believe it is now December, the end of the year, OMGoodness.. Where has the year gone??

I love all the goodies from the Deck The Halls Collection.   How gorgeous are these little die cuts and stickers with the wonderful papers!!

I created some ornaments to place on my tree and think they turned out wonderfully.. 

I cut a piece of the paper from the 6 x 6 Winter Dazzle paper pad down to 5 inches x 6 inches and adhered it as shown on the 6 inch side. 


At one end adhere flat then turn the circle and adhere the other way as shown.


Using lots of the die cuts and the paper to make a poinsettia flower with some homemade fake snow and how lovely did this actually turn out.. 


A side view to show you how the favour box looks. A paper doily wrapped around the pretty snowflake paper and a piece of ribbon to make it look finished.. Using 3D foam tape to life the die cut elements to give some dimensions. 


I made three ornaments to place on my tree this year..
I adore this image of mr and mrs snow people and knew it would be perfect for this red ornament. 


I just adore this image of the tree so I added the die cut presents on the gorgeous patterned paper then using 3 D foam tape placed the tree on the side of them.. 


How cute is this reindeer? Added with 3 D foam tape on the beautiful star background with a little 3D flower sticker to add a bit of dimension.


These measure 3 1/2 inches. Don't they look pretty!!

Sisters Folder - CC

 Hi all,

Today I'm on the Couture Creations blog and I would love to show you my folder I created for the sisters. They are so similar but have their own personality with both of them loving the colour purple. 

The folder measures 7 inches x 5 inches, score at 3 3/8 inches and 3 5/8 inches.

The mats measure 3 1/4 inches x 4 7/8 inches.

I created a background from assorted inks, splashes some water for a little interest and stamped around the pages with Layered Florals stamp set.. Just love this set. 

I created a panel for the front and again applied assorted inks and stamped the Layered Florals around the edges. I die cut a Floral Corner and placed on the bottom with gold bling.

The banner was stamped from the Sitting Pretty stamp set and fussy cut. The quote is from the Sentiments stamp set which is a gorgeous set. (can you see the Sitting Pretty girl in front of the card ready for another project).


The twin sisters coloured in with the brilliant Twin Tip Alcohol Markers (love these). I think I used about 35 - 40 different colours in the set of 108 with these images and I loved every one of them.        Be warned they are rich and vibrant colours so addiction is possible..   


Sister One is so sweet and loves purple and green spots, she loves to wear her purplish sunglasses with her clothing and did you notice her ring and earring matches (I think she made these herself). 


Sister Two also love purple but she combines that with blue. Adore her eye make-up, Did you notice her necklace? I think the sisters make jewellery together. She is so pretty. 


The folder which stand open or closed. (I wonder when the little sister is going to make an appearance with her own project, she is sitting Pretty waiting mmm)


 I used the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers to colour all stamped images and it blew me away at how easy they were to use.. Blended beautifully, no bleeding and colours complimented each other wonderfully.

Winter Window Card - My Besties

Memories Layout -Couture Creations

Hi all, 

HOMELY FLORALS COLLECTION

I am loving this collection from Couture Creations, it is so Australian with all our native flowers and my favourites to boot...

I created the layout using two photos I took while in the outback of Australia camping which was perfect with all of the Homely Florals Collection.. 

   After sprinkling some alcohol inks around the page and blowing them with the Alcohol Ink Blower, I adhered two die cut bases from the  CO728537 Santas Sleigh Tall Card Die Set after lightly stamping flowers on top to give some interest.


Loving the effect of alcohol inks on photo paper and acetate which I used as mats for my two photos.


I wanted to cut leaves from this little die from the CO 728664 Hugs Sentiment Die Set using the same COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers  as the flowers; so I scribbled them on plain cardstock and die cut them out..


Looking good here with the die cut banners and bow..


I coloured all the flowers and leaves with COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers and fussy cut the urn from the  CO 728658 Diecut Ephemera Set. You can see the little leaves in the background that I die cut from the scribbled backgrounds as above.. 


This stamp is quite large and I love it. I added it on a black chipboard scrap to make it pop and arranged it in a fussy cut urn. Loving the COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers ..


Isn't the background stamp wonderful, just a little is needed to bring the page together.

Homely Florals Canvas - Couture Creations

Hi all,

HOMELY FLORALS COLLECTION

I am loving this collection from Couture Creations.

I coloured these gorgeous images in with the COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers and decided to create a small canvas to bring brightness to a dark room.. I really enjoyed making this, so relaxing and fun to do.. 


Maybe my new favourite alcohol ink. I painted the easel with white than added the Golden Age Sunflower Alcohol Ink along the edge to match the canvas. 


Fussy cutting is quite relaxing and believe me I did lots of fussy cutting to give me several layers on the canvas. I die cut the 'beautiful' word four times and adhered together for dimension then adhered it across the flower as shown. Glossy Accents on top to give some shine and some glitter and the canvas was finished..

Box for Card Set... Couture Creations

Hi all,

Isn't this so pretty with all the colours from the Alcohol Inks!  I adore how the smile turned out with the colours in it. I die cut the smile five times, four in white and once in the scrap piece of alcohol inks cardstock. I adhered them together with the coloured one on top to make it stand out. 

I have made this box before with a different set of cards awhile ago so instead of me doing another tutorial I have just put a link below..

Set of Cards - couture Creations

 Hi all, 

I am still loving the Alcohol Inks from Couture Creations and have been using them so much it's time for new ones lol. I created a set of five cards using alcohol inks and added a piece of Clear Casting Resin on one or two as well as using a few Sentiment Die Sets. Love these cards... 

1. Smile.. I die cut the frame from Nesting Treasured Frames CO 726468 then fussy cut around the inside to give me the opening to showcase the wonderful alcohol ink background. I die cut the Smile four times and adhered together to give depth to the word. I cut the shadow from black cardstock to make it stand out and edged it in gold. 


2. Kisses...I love this background with lots of gold running through the pinks, matted on to a piece of embossed paper. I diecut the kisses word five times once from gold and four times from white cardstock and adhered them together with the gold on top. A flower from the Mixed Natives stamp and coloured in with Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers finished the card. 


3 Hugs.... How pretty is this card with the blues, gold and white !!! Again I added several layers on the word and shadow to make it stand out. Again pretty...  


4. Beautiful... I love the purples with a dash of black and just a touch of gold alcohol inks. I  created a small resin rose and poured a little purple and gold alcohol inks over it and just wow, love it.. 


5. Kisses... I cut a tag from an older collection Steampunk Dreams Collection
and again love the colour combination of alcohol inks. I stamped and diecut a flower from the Mixed Natives Stamp set and coloured it in with the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers. I used the Clear Casting Resin to create a bow and splashed some reds, blue and gold on it and placed it like a vase..
