Toppers - CC

 Hi all,

I'm using the new Australia The Lucky Country Collection. It is a lovely collection.. I plan on creating some scrap pages with this to showcase my photos of when we were travelling around Australia. This would be perfect for them.. Well today I have made some toppers with the cut-a-parts.

I used the cut- a- parts from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad for these. I used dies to cut a frame but you can do this with a craft knife and ruler. These finished toppers measures approx ? ????? inches x ????? inches.

Frame - 2in x 2 3/4 in,  Acetate 1 7/8 in x 2 5/8 in, Background pattern paper  1 7/8 in x 2 5/8 in, Brown cardstock background 

I used the 3D foam strips around the frame after adhering the acetate on. I adhered the background papers on the base, place some lovely bling on it and the adhered the cover. A word cut from another of the wonderful papers in the collection again on the 3d foam strip tape, covered in dimensional magic and three gorgeous gold Pearls to finish the toppers.. See how easy was that?

Loaded Flowers - Nervous at Night - AVSC

Hi all,

I love Halloween and created a Loaded Wooden Handbag for Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft, so I decided to make some flowers to place in the hand bag.  I punched a 1 inch circle and placed some glue all over it as you can see in the photo below. 

 I pleat the orange crepe paper as shown around the punched circle.. 

Voila, a flower is born..

I stamped the mean looking pumpkin from the Spooky Scribbles  several times using Orange Ink.

I then went around the eyes, mouth and hair line with a black pen and coloured them in with  Metallic Markers . After fussy cutting the pumpkin I punched a 1 1/4 inch glitter foam circle to place on the back of the pumpkins. 

A die cut spider web   (my favourite) on top of the crepe paper flower and it is done..

A mean looking orange flower.

A mean looking yellow flower.

A mean looking black flower.

All three flowers together..

I decided to place the flowers in a bag to put in my loaded hand bag. I cut a 7 inch x 3 1/2 inch piece of black cardstock and matted it with some of the fun paper at 6 3/4 inch x 3 1/4 inch. I then used a tiny piece of double sided tape on the back of the flowers and placed them evenly on the cardstock. 

I made a heading with one of the cut aparts on black cardstock and placed a die cut spider with a Graphic 45 Matte Pearl Gem for the body..

Harry's Bookshelf Part 1 - Dance Like a HippoGriff - Harry Potter - AVSC

Hi all,

This is my favourite project and has lots of little interesting bits in it.

I do hope you enjoy it..

I have a separate post to show you how I created all these little interesting things..

I started off with Vignette Set here box and while it looked great I wanted it to be a bit more shabby so I dry pained roughly around the box and on the shelves with white paint.. I then inked over it, again roughly with vintage Photo Distress ink until I was happy with it.. I didn't worry about the back of the shelves as I was covering it with paper..

I did the sides and top and bottom as well..

I cut paper to fit the back of the panels ready to decorate.. Have to love these papers..

I used the sticker strips from this months gorgeous papers along the dividers of the shelves.. The metal corners helped finish off the box..

Top Left Shelf... The key is pretty special I reckon..

Placing the Dumbeldore frame which has a pin on the back straight into the wood keeps it secured and a tiny bit of film strip behind it just gives it a little interest.. Doesn't that washie tape stand out on the dark bottle. Love it.. Can you see the ink pot?

Top Right Shelf.

The Middle and Bottom Shelves was fun to do.. I added a little bottle charm hanging from the wood and behind it place a wax seal that I coated with Inka Gold. The brick sticker strip looks perfect against all this lushiness.. The Phoenix (really a peacock but we can pretend right??) is just sitting back ready to do its thing..

I didn't have a white owl but loved this steampunk gold owl and thought it could be a student at Hogwarts school.. A little bit of film strip in the background just gives this shelf a little more interest..  I miss Dobby!! 

The Middle section of the box is wonderful with lots of goodies. Books, wands, bottles and thingy's are all part of the charm..

I adore how all the books just became books with a piece of folded paper.. So darn cute.. 

The Top Shelf.. Filled with all sorts of wonderful things.. A pinch of this and a pinch of that, How exciting ...

The finished cupboard.. Harry sure has a lot of stuff there..

Card Toppers - Rick St Dennis

Hi all,

I love this set of digital images by Rick St Dennis.

I created a set of Card Toppers to use for a rainy day (sorry couldn't help myself lol)...

My favourite image for sure is the cat and mouse which I called 'side by side' and is from the Whimsical set of Umbrella Users. Here

This little cutie is also from the  Whimsical set of Umbrella Users...

I named this topper 'And let it fly away'..

This fellow riding on the turtle is just plain fun.. The little turtle I want to pick up and hold lol  I called this one 'down to the river'..

Though this digital image is called I felt a drop Here I wanted him to be out walking 

and 'found himself in a strange land' trying to get the bird to land on his hand lol..

Loved colouring his highness in.. 

'Singing in The Rain' here and how much fun he is having doing it.. 'Upon a Shore' is where he is walking..

To Fly is what the wind is trying to make this little guy do lol. He is also from

Accordion Card - The Stars are Brightly Shining - AVSC

Hi all,
Oh my goodness Christmas day is closing fast.. I wanted to show you the special card i created with the glorious kit from Aunty Vera Scrap ad Craft.. I just adore it..

I used the two dies as shown from Sizzix..

Cut one base from cardstock and cut off one tab on one of the pieces. place some strong adhesive on the other tab as shown.. 

Join the two bases together..

Cut two frames from 2 different pieces of the gorgeous paper in the kit..

Adhere both frames on the base as shown as well as the centre pieces..

Place strong adhesive on the tabs and adhere the card together as shown..

Cover the tabs with the washie tape from the kit..

Add pieces from the ephemera pack to your design..

Love that angel..

How cute is the tree and presents..

I added the buttons for visual effects but loved the idea so much I think I will make this a part of my Christmas decorations in my home..

How cute are these buttons from the kit..and with some of that gorgeous trim under them..

My Besties - Christmas

Hi all, 

This is the last card for 2018 with My Besties and she is gorgeous with her friend the unicorn..

I coloured this card in with Distress ink on watercolour paper..

I then fussy cut her and with 3D foam tape adhered her to a patterned paper panel..  

Lots of sparkle and glitter because that is what unicorns do...

Don't you just love this poinsettia..
