Christmas Ornaments - Couture Creations

 Hi all,

Can you believe it is now December, the end of the year, OMGoodness.. Where has the year gone??

I love all the goodies from the Deck The Halls Collection.   How gorgeous are these little die cuts and stickers with the wonderful papers!!

I created some ornaments to place on my tree and think they turned out wonderfully.. 

I cut a piece of the paper from the 6 x 6 Winter Dazzle paper pad down to 5 inches x 6 inches and adhered it as shown on the 6 inch side. 

At one end adhere flat then turn the circle and adhere the other way as shown.

Using lots of the die cuts and the paper to make a poinsettia flower with some homemade fake snow and how lovely did this actually turn out.. 

A side view to show you how the favour box looks. A paper doily wrapped around the pretty snowflake paper and a piece of ribbon to make it look finished.. Using 3D foam tape to life the die cut elements to give some dimensions. 

I made three ornaments to place on my tree this year..

I adore this image of mr and mrs snow people and knew it would be perfect for this red ornament. 

I just adore this image of the tree so I added the die cut presents on the gorgeous patterned paper then using 3 D foam tape placed the tree on the side of them.. 

How cute is this reindeer? Added with 3 D foam tape on the beautiful star background with a little 3D flower sticker to add a bit of dimension.

These measure 3 1/2 inches. Don't they look pretty!!

Memories Layout -Couture Creations

Hi all, 

HOMELY FLORALS COLLECTION

I am loving this collection from Couture Creations, it is so Australian with all our native flowers and my favourites to boot...

I created the layout using two photos I took while in the outback of Australia camping which was perfect with all of the Homely Florals Collection.. 

   After sprinkling some alcohol inks around the page and blowing them with the Alcohol Ink Blower, I adhered two die cut bases from the  CO728537 Santas Sleigh Tall Card Die Set after lightly stamping flowers on top to give some interest.

Loving the effect of alcohol inks on photo paper and acetate which I used as mats for my two photos.

I wanted to cut leaves from this little die from the CO 728664 Hugs Sentiment Die Set using the same COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers  as the flowers; so I scribbled them on plain cardstock and die cut them out..

Looking good here with the die cut banners and bow..

I coloured all the flowers and leaves with COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers and fussy cut the urn from the  CO 728658 Diecut Ephemera Set. You can see the little leaves in the background that I die cut from the scribbled backgrounds as above.. 

This stamp is quite large and I love it. I added it on a black chipboard scrap to make it pop and arranged it in a fussy cut urn. Loving the COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers ..

Isn't the background stamp wonderful, just a little is needed to bring the page together.

Poinsettia Sunburst Card CC

 Hi all,

DECK THE HALLS CHRISTMAS COLLECTION

On the Couture Creations blog today is a card I made using the Poinsettia Greetings stamp and the Star Burst background stamp. Unusual colours to use I know but I don't think the photos do it justice with the new gorgeous alcohol inks. 

I stamped two Poinsettia's on White Synthetic Paper and coloured them in using the COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers 

I die cut the frame from White Synthetic Paper and stamped the Sun Burst on top of it. 

Using an assortment of Alcohol inks I covered the die cut frame. 

I fussy cut both of the flowers and using 3D Foam Dots placed one on top of the other one.

I added a gold Pine Branch die cut and a scroll from the Santa's Sleigh die set behind the flowers. 

I stamped the Merry Christmas from the merry Wreath Stamp set and popped it up with 3D Foam Dots on top of the stars from the Santa's Sleigh Tall Card die set and the Pine Branch die in gold cardstock.

I matted the die cut frame on to gold cardstock then onto a white card base.

Three Christmas Cards -Couture Creations

 Hi all,

DECK THE HALLS CHRISTMAS COLLECTION

Today is my turn on the blog and I have to say I have really enjoyed using the new Alcohol Inks with acetate for these three cards. So much fun...

Card 1. I stamped the Poinsettia stamp on to a piece of acetate with the wonderful black outline ink pad and heat set it gently. Using the gorgeous Golden Age & Pearl Alcohol Inks on Synthetic paper, I cut it down to fit on my card base. I then die cut a frame and placed it on top of the acetate sheet. I placed foam tape underneath the acetate where the frame is positioned and also the middle of the flowers. Glamourous Gold adhesive Pearls in the middle of the flowers to cover the foam tape and the card was finished..  

Card 2. I love the CO728537  Santas Sleigh Tall Card Die Set and thought it perfect for the Golden Age Alcohol Inks on Synthetic Paper. I added Mirror Foil Board underneath the die cut frame as shown. I die cut Santa's Sleigh twice from red and gold card stock and using foam tape adhered it to the front of the acetate. A star from the same die set and a stamped greeting on Mirror Foil Board and the card was done. I love this card... 

This card was so much fun.. I stamped the Seasons Greeting straight on to the acetate and coloured it in with the brilliant COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers  . I added a frame to the acetate and using foam tape adhered it to a alcohol ink background with two die cut Holly Sprigs between them. I placed this on a embossed mat then on to my base card.

Poinsettia Card - Couture Creations

 Hi all,

I would love to showcase the gorgeous Poinsettia Greeting Stamp Set, used in conjunction with the new  COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers  and WOW !! 

So join me here to see how I created this beautiful Christmas Card...

I stamped the image with the new CO 728475 Stamp & Colour Outline Ink Pad Black on 

CO 727339 Synthetic Paper - White and coloured it in with my very first try of the new Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers and it blew me away at how easy they were to use.. Blended beautifully, no bleeding and colours complimented each other wonderfully.. Yes I know the bottom petals should be red but I really wanted to try the green markers so it is now a red and green poinsettia lol  I placed some alcohol ink and blending solution on the glass mat and using a paint brush splattered it around the stamped image..

I die cut a frame three times making the last one CO725407 Mirror Foil Board and adhered them together to give it depth. I then matted it on to a yellowish cardstock then on to red cardstock and finally on to a white base card. 

I die cut a poinsettia from my stash and the wonderful 

CO78569 Holly Sprig Mini Cutting Die to place behind it.. I stamped the Seasons Greetings with the CO 728475 Stamp & Colour Outline Ink Pad Black straight on to the stamped image.. 

I love the new CO 728479 Golden Age Snow.  I placed a few drops on the glass mat and added a few drops of blending solution to mix and again using a paint brush splattered it over the flowers. You should see it in real life, WOW just WOW..
