Hi all,

I decided to create a layout with these gorgeous flowers from Couture Creations.

Using Alcohol Inks from their huge range I dabbed ink and created a circle on the page. I then did some second generation stamping on the page using assorted stamps from the two flower stamp and die set. 

I made the purplish background mat for the photos using alcohol inks and it was pretty as.

I love the Clear Casting Resin from Couture Creations so I made a border with one of my moulds and simply dropped some purple and gold alcohol inks on it to spread it around. Pretty!

Finally I stamped the flowers and using the stencils with the set I coloured them in with the alcohol ink markers. I then die cut these. Stamping the sentiment Go Wild and Free that came with the set, I cut each word separate and placed that on the side. 

Now it was just a matter of putting it all together..

Little Dragon Card - My Besties Aussie Challenge

 Hi all,

My card for September over on the My Besties Aussie Challenge Blog.. She is gorgeous isn't she!!!

I coloured her in with copic makers and knew straight away what paper I was going to use.

I cut a card base of 5 1/2 inches square in white. I made a panel in aqua with a piece of pattern paper as the second panel and adhered to the base.. I die cut two panels from the dies and adhered on top. I stitched around all panels.

I cut three different flowers and adhered together. Placing it in the top corner with darling gold spotted leaves and a pearl in the centre of the flower.

I created the same flower in the bottom corner but adhered this on a section of a fence.

Home dyed ribbon on the Wrapped Heart die. 

Coloured with Copic Markers and embellished with Dimensional Magic and Kindy Glitz..

Filigree Ornaments - Stars in The Bright Sky - AVSC

Hi all,

This month is going so fast it scares me to know Christmas is literally only weeks away..

I love the papers and goodies I received from Aunty Vera this December and I adored the Filigree Nativity Ornament die from Cottage Cutz.

I had in mind from the start what I was going to create with this die but as always the mind does it's own thing and off it goes down a different track lol..

To start with I die cut the top layer then cut 4 from white cardstock..

With the top die cuts I inked them with Versamark Ink .

I did 2 coats of the White Satin Pearl Embossing Powder to give it a beautiful shiny look..

With the patterned tops I coated them in 2 layers of clear embossing powder..

The six together, do you see the gloss of the embossing powders. 

I adhered 4 of the white die cuts together and then the top gloss die cut..

I was pretty much going to leave it as that with ribbon and flowers but it just didn't look right so I looked at the paper and yep I traced around the ornament and cut it out.. 

After adhering it together, I punched a hole in the handle to tie a ribbon on it and sprayed some glitter over the whole thing to give it some 'sparkle'. I then placed two bling to finish it off..

I love these pearl brads that I have had for a long time but only had silver which is ok for the silver poinsettia's but for the gold not so good.. 

Out comes a copic marker and I now have a gold brad..

My favourite one, I love this for some reason..

I love love these stars from the master of creation Tim Holtz and decided to use this for the top of my little tree.. I am going to be cutting out more to place throughout the tree so keep your eye out..

HP Book - Dance Like a HippoGriff - Harry Potter - AVSC

Hi all,

You have to love all the projects I have been creating this month with Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft. 

It really is a toss up between Cooking and HP, which I love the most.. 

I decided to make this little booklet using the stamps and some of the glorious papers I received.

All items used on this booklet is on the end of this post, please click on the links to take you to Aunty Vera's shop..

These are what we call cut - aparts, They come in a 12 inch x 12 inch piece of paper and each one measures 3 inches x 4 inches.. This is the selection I choose for this booklet..

I stamped assorted papers with the Noted stamp set and Archival Black ink and fussy cut them. 

I then inked around each one with brown ink.. 

Using a strip of paper I created a spine to neaten the edges up.. I made a belly band to keep the booklet closed and how appropriate was this sticker from the sticker sheet.  

My favourite cut - apart 'Never Stop Looking Up'. Love this!! I painted the moon with Dimensional Magic Gloss to give it some shine.

You have to agree, that washie tape is GLORIOUS!! . 

I love these stamps and can see myself using them heaps.. 

I have a tee shirt with this on it, (can you tell I am a fan?). Did you notice the bling on the row of diamonds or the bird..

How brilliant does these look together.

Now everyone knows that Ron loves his candy Right?? I placed two of the pearls on his eyes and haven't decided yet if they are spooky or not lol.

In the looking glass, I wonder what we see!! Did you see the gold pearls?  They are brilliant..

Love how this turned out.. Stamps and fussy cutting does wonders.. 

I fussy cut the little windows out of the reel and place a gold sheet from the papers behind it.. 

The stamped book is fussy cut from a brown piece of paper and then again from the grey. 

I cut the two grey pages and glued them down only in the middle and 

curled the pages a little. (it is hard to see here). Love love that ruler..

Though this photo has not picked it up well, the whole piece of cut - apart is covered in glitter. 

I also darkened the shadows to make them stand out more.. 

Back of the book and if you look closely, you will see what a HippoGriff looks like... 

I love this little booklet. Simple but magical all the same..

Castle Card - Dance Like a HippoGriff - Harry Potter - AVSC

Hi all,
You have to be loving this month;s theme
Harry Potter - Dance Like a HippoGriff.
I love this die Hogwarts Castle and created a card from it using the Mixed Media Powder 'Hammered' Love this embossing powder..
I embossed around the frame and the castle.. 

I die cut a white one for the moon but found a 1 1/8 inch circle punch is the right size for the moon so used that instead.. 

I Inked around the moon using Archival Ink - Coffee and later thought the centre was to white and added more ink to the centre for some shading.. I coverd the moon with glossy accents..

I created the background with acrylic paint and splatter white drops over once dried.. 

I die cut a 4 inch circle from the background and placed yellow paper behind the lights of the castle.. 

I then placed 3D foam tape behind the frame and adhered it to a piece of the 6 inch x 6 inch cut apart of the gorgeous paper in this months theme.... 

I embellished it with three enamel drops  and a castle sticker from the sticker sheet..

I love how the gold background highlights the frame of the castle..
