My Take Home Bag - We Are All Heroes - AVSC

How exciting has this Super Heroes party been this month.. I have had so much fun with you all.

Here is a gift bag for you to say Thank You for coming to our party..

Cut a 8 1/2 inch x 11 inch piece of paper.
To get the Spiderman image on the front of the bag you will need to turn your paper face down.
Score at 2inches, 5 inches, 7 inches and 10 inches. Turn and score at 2 inches and 7 inches.
Cut as shown remembering to cut up to the score line as shown on bottom as well.

This is the front of the bag..

Ink around the edges and punch along the top flap.

Adhere along the side flap (here on the right side piece) and then fold the left side over to give you the bag shape. Fold the bottom up and adhere together..

Using your fingers fold the sides in as shown.

Punch two holes right through the bag when folded and tie some of the gorgeous paper string into a bow.. I added a spider die cut from IO Die 115-J  Spider and Web..

(note: Next time I would cut the tab a bit shorter to show Spiderman off better.)

Two Cards - We Are All Heroes - AVSC

This has been quite a month with the Super Heroes theme.. 

If you have someone in your life that loves these characters then this kit is for you..

And if you are a scrapbooker then believe me you are going to love this..

What is a party without a card or two.. 

Though using the same stamp image these are so different from each other..

I started with two A4 sheets of cardstock.

( I only used one)

I sprayed water first then sprinkled the Rusho's powder onto the wet paper; it didn't spread enough for me so I sprayed some more water until I was happy with the result.. I started with the red Brusho's from the kit but I wanted a bit more oomph, so I pulled out a black Brusho's and blue Brusho's that I have in my stash. Love these little bottles of gorgeousness..

I cut the paper down to 4 7/8 inch x 4 7/8 inch.

(hint - use a piece of chipboard instead of  3D foam. This is a piece of packaging.

It saves you money and is firm and you are recycling).

Layer this on to a 5 1/4 inch square card. I stamped city on fire and cut it out. I also used 3D foam tape to adhere this to the front of the card.. Cutting a little piece of the web doily I adhered this under the spiderman I had made up earlier with the die from the kit.. Using 3 D foam tape I then adhered spiderman to the front of the card.. 

 The second card is the same size. I kept the background plain and added the chipboard stickers to the front of the card.. I also added a little bit of the web doily under the spiderman.  Cutting the prongs off the brads I placed a tiny piece of 3 D foam tape underneath them and adhered them near the super heroes..

We Are All Heroes - Party Food AVSC

'Super Heroes', what a quirky theme for the month of August.
I decided to go with a party flavour because it is winter and why not have a party to cheer us all up..

How exciting you are here at the party.. 

I made some food to share, are you hungry??

Yummy Cupcakes.. How pretty are these..

For all the toppers of the cup cakes I punched a 2 inch circle from coloured cardstock, a 1 3/4 inch scalloped circle patterned paper from the kit and a black cardstock 1 1/2 inch circle.

I started with the 2 inch circle first then the patterned scalloped, a web doily, the 1 1/2 inch black circle and finally a sticker.  I attached all this to a straw wrapped in paper from the kit and then inserted into the cup cake.. Pretty neat eh.. I was going to do decorations on the cake but left it bare to showcase the topper..

(in case you are wondering, they are real chocolate cup cakes)

I made a paper cone with this wonderful paper to hold all the yummy sweets in..

 Yah love lollipops.. How easy is this.. Doesn't that string look brilliant with the tissue paper and the tiny stickers..

 I love washie tape and it looks wonderful wrapped around this little tin..

Did you get your party hat to wear!!  I left Captain America for you..

Spiderman - We Are All Heroes AVSC

Oh brilliant, this month we are having a Super Heroes party.. 

I love this Spiderman die from the August Kit.. Now you know me by now, I couldn't just cut him out in one colour so I looked at the picture on the package and thought I can do that.. So I die-cut him out 4 times in White, Blue, Red and Black.  Creepy looking though eh!!..

In this photo I have placed White behind the blue die-cuts as I was going to use this as the base, but I changed my mind and used the white as the base instead.. I drew around the red and blue Spiderman die-cuts to give me an idea of what I had to cut from the images.

You can see here in this photo what I mean by the above statement. Here I am adhering the red on the white base first.

I then fussy cut the blue sections and adhered them to the white base as shown including the tiny heel sections of the feet lol.. I cut the eye sections from the black diecut for the eyes and added an extra white eye to give it some dimension.  All this took ages to do as it was so fine but I think the end result is well worth it.. 

The finished Spiderman..

 I used a black pen to draw the lines on his suit and a blue copic pen to add some lines/shading to the blue areas..

My Gift - We Are All Heroes - AVSC

Oh brilliant, this month we are having a Super Heroes birthday party.. 

I love parties, don't you!! And one of the best things with a party is PREZZIES..
Yah I LOVE Prezzies; I love to feel them first then shake them and even smell them in case of yummy bathroom goodies.

'Thank You' for your gift, I am so excited to see what it is...

I recycled a box to cover with this paper from the kit. I simply inked all the edges and rubbed some Emerald Inka Gold randomly (only because I got some over the box to start with , so happy accident lol).. I love washie tape as you may be aware of, so I could not allow this box to go Un - Washie. Isn't this just so cute!!

I decided to use the Hulk chipboard and spray with a coat of the Heidi Swapp Color Shine Black.

I just had to use the wonderful washie tape around the top and bottom of the present..

(note: This does not stick well so you will need to use extra adhesive )
I placed the letter stickers on the bottom of the present to spell out puzzle..

Inside the present... OH Thank you so much, I had so much fun putting this together.  

This huge puzzle 12 x 9 only took me about 1 hour.. (Yep, so not a puzzle person) lol.. 

(note to self: give back to the kids, too hard lol)

oh and thank you for my comic book, I will enjoy reading this soooo much xx
