Photo Album -CC

 Hi all,

What a gorgeous collection Couture Creations have for us. Blues By You Collection So pretty that I decided to make a photo album/folder.

Cut three pieces black cardstock at 10cm x 20cm, make a mark in the center on the 20cm side and fold both ends into the mark. Do all three pieces and glue one end to each other standing up so the middle piece will have both side glued (as in photo 1). Cut another three pieces of cardstock at 10cm x 30cm Score at 10cm & 20cm. Adhere all three pieces in the middle as shown in photo 1. Your base is now done.. I cut the mats with assorted papers in the kit and made two envelopes with tags, two fold envelopes with lift up flaps and three pockets along the center folds. I left two white and stamped one with You Are Amazing.  (just a warning, do not make this with bulky items as it will not close, ask me how I know lol).. I am going to put photos in this as a gift.

To make the fold envelope I cut an 18cm x 8cm and score it 4cm each end. I then punched a 2 1/2 inch circle and did the ends as shown in photo 2. I did need to trim it down a fraction but it worked as I couldn't find my geometry compass.

Dreams Folio -CC

 Hi all,

Just by using a different coloured background cardstocks with the Blues By You Collection will make all the difference and give you heaps of possibilities.. I love this collection. I decided to do a simple folio for you today. 

Cut a base cardstock at 11 3/8 in x 6 in, score at 2 5/8in & 7in Round corners. On the 7in line punch two holes 3/4 in from each side. (string holes).  Cut pages @ 8in x 5 1/8in, fold in half on the 8in side, round the corners of the pages. Slip the pages under the string inside and fold over covers.

Scrap Paperclip Art. CC

 Hi all,

What to do with scraps with the Blues By You Collection , well for me its to make little paperclip art pieces. These were so easy to do that I don't think I am allowed to call them a project lol. They did turn out pretty though so make sure you keep you little scraps in a ziplock bag because you will love making these.

Twist Panel Pop Up Card - CC

 Hi all,

I hope your crafting is going well.. I thought I would show you the Blues By You collection with a twist panel pop up card. Now I'm not going to lie and say this is an easy card to start with but oh my how glorious did it turn out.. 

I am hoping that you can see all the measurements from the photos and how it was put together. There are a heap of videos out there in cyber space to show you but once you have the mechanism down pat then its easy. The papers are so lovely and you could make several of these with different background bases and they would all look different.. I love this collection.. 


The base measures 4 1/2 in x 9 in, score 4 1/2 in Cut and score the middle as shown.

Aussie G'day Layout - CC

 Hi all,

Today I am showing you a layout I completed with the wonderful Australia The Lucky Country Collection..  I scrap lifted the design from my friend Joanne, she is a wonderful crafter.. 

I used a plain white 12 x 12 cardstock for the base. Cut a 10 in x 10 in black cardstock and paper two at 9 3/4 in x 9 3/4 in, adhere as shown. The large photo mat measures at 6 in x 4 1/4 in & the three smaller mats are 31/3 in x 4 1/4 in (all black). The white mats are 1/4 in smaller and the actual photos are 1/4 smaller again.  I used the 3D foam tape to add dimension to all photos and the words as well as the Australian flag. I used one of my shaker toppers I made Toppers Here. Using two trees from the ephemera set with the 3d foam dots separating them to give depth was placed between the topper and photo with a explore chipboard on top of the trunk. 

I just love the simplicity of this layout and to me it suited the papers from this collection perfectly.

Outback Downunder layout - CC

 Hi all,

Isn't this a great bush collection and after travelling I have a ton of photos I have yet to scrap so this collection was perfect. All measurements are in inches..  I scrap lifted the design from my friend Joanne, she is a wonderful crafter..  Start with a base of 12 x 12 white, cutting black cardstock to 10 1/2 x 10 1/4 and trim Paper 1 to 10 x 10 1/2, adhere together as shown. Cut another piece of black cardstock at 8 1/4 x 11 1/2 and Paper 4 at 8 x 11 1/4 adhere as shown. 

I did add a trim but I have my banner over it lol. Frame your photos in white then on black adhering with self adhesive foam squares/dots/tape. I added the foam tape to the ephemera as well. 

I blended assorted inks on a card front then stamped the Kangaroos in the Bush sprinkling a little bit of water on top and allow to dry.. I used the Winkles to go over the tree and sky and colouring the kangaroos, (love these). I cut out my heading from Paper 5 adhering them with foam tape. I just love how simple and easy this was to put together.

Toppers - CC

 Hi all,

I'm using the new Australia The Lucky Country Collection. It is a lovely collection.. I plan on creating some scrap pages with this to showcase my photos of when we were travelling around Australia. This would be perfect for them.. Well today I have made some toppers with the cut-a-parts.

I used the cut- a- parts from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad for these. I used dies to cut a frame but you can do this with a craft knife and ruler. These finished toppers measures approx ? ????? inches x ????? inches.

Frame - 2in x 2 3/4 in,  Acetate 1 7/8 in x 2 5/8 in, Background pattern paper  1 7/8 in x 2 5/8 in, Brown cardstock background 

I used the 3D foam strips around the frame after adhering the acetate on. I adhered the background papers on the base, place some lovely bling on it and the adhered the cover. A word cut from another of the wonderful papers in the collection again on the 3d foam strip tape, covered in dimensional magic and three gorgeous gold Pearls to finish the toppers.. See how easy was that?

Flower Bike Card - CC

 Hi all,

Today is a simple card day. I die cut the gorgeous Flower Bike Card a couple of times then stamped the image onto a sheet of the 12 x 12 pretty papers. I adhered all of these together. I then matted this with the foam tape onto die cut mesh (from the Steampunk range, older collection) and white cardstock. I used Blue Jay cardstock as the card base which is an A5 card. I trimmed one of the cut -aparts for the quote, some bling and it was done.. A simple but effective card I thought and I really like it..

Tag Booklet CC

 Hi all,

As you can all see with my latest makes I am loving the Vintage Tea collection. I decided to combine this collection with dies from my other old favourite collection 'Steampunk'.. 

All measurements are in inches... I cut the base at 8 1/2 in x 5 3/4 in, score at 4 1/8 in & 4 3/8 in, burnish well.  Cut three pieces of white cardstock 3 7/8 x 5 1/2.                                                                  Cut a front panel with the gorgeous paper at 3 5/8 x 5 1/4.   Adhere the white panels to the front and inside of the booklet. 

Cut two pockets at 4 x 3. Cut two mats with pattern paper at 3 3/4 x 2 3/4. Cut two piece of vellum the same as the pattern paper.  Adhere the base pockets to the inside of the booklet only using a little glue on three sides leaving the top open. Attach the patterned paper to the pockets then add the vellum to the that only adhering the top of the vellum.

Cut tags, stamp images and adhere some together.  Place some trim in the holes and place in the pockets. Stamp & die cut the stacked tea cups three times, adhere together to give a nice solid base. Place pearls on bits of the stamped image. Adhere this onto a paper doily on front of the booklet. Decorate as desired.. (have to love the Ephemera Set)


First time using the Precision Stamp Press and to be honest I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use. I was concerned with how much pressure I could put on it but it really didn't need a lot so bonus for my old hands.

Lace Envelope CC 5

 Hi all,

Today I am making a Lace Envelope with the gorgeous new Vintage Tea Collection. I will add this to the gorgeous expanding envelope pouch I created. I will do a video to show you all of things I create with the gorgeous Vintage Tea Collection and when I am finished, I will add the link here.. 

Cut a piece of paper at 9 1/2 in x 4 1/2 in and score at 3 in and 6 1/2 in.  Fold down the top and fold up with the bottom Sew around the edges and place an eyelet in the tip of the front to have some bling.


Make a mark in the center -2 1/4 in and fold the corners in as shown. Add a strip of paper to clean up the edges and trim.  Fold up and Sew around the edges leaving the top pocket open.

I filled the envelope with pretty lace wrapped around a paper spool which I created with the wonderful  CO729005 3D Embos9004sing folder Centered Flowers
