HOMELY FLORALS COLLECTION

I am loving this collection from Couture Creations.

I coloured these gorgeous images in with the COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers and decided to create a small canvas to bring brightness to a dark room.. I really enjoyed making this, so relaxing and fun to do.. 

Maybe my new favourite alcohol ink. I painted the easel with white than added the Golden Age Sunflower Alcohol Ink along the edge to match the canvas. 

Fussy cutting is quite relaxing and believe me I did lots of fussy cutting to give me several layers on the canvas. I die cut the 'beautiful' word four times and adhered together for dimension then adhered it across the flower as shown. Glossy Accents on top to give some shine and some glitter and the canvas was finished..

Hi all,

I totally loved how this canvas worked with the alcohol inks.

I placed a piece of Adhesive Yupo Paper  on the canvas and it was ready to go..

How pretty did this turn out!! I used the following Alcohol Inks :

Do You Remember - Nat's Challenge for NSD May AVSC

I love this album so created my version of Nat's following her challenge..

I stamped calico and placed rings and hand dyed ribbons to close it.

I added a key and the tree of life on a chain.

I love how this turned out and will be very busy finishing this album..

Poppies and Wings Canvas - Couture Creations

Hi all,

Today I created a mixed Media Canvas using Steampunk Dreams and Lest We Forget Collections from Couture Creations
I painted the canvas with white gesso and while still damp painted different colours on it with
acrylic paints. When dried I stamped the canvas with a stamp from the Steampunk Dreams collection.

Can you believe this mixed media canvas has the base from above lol..

I fussy cut the flowers from scrap paper and die cut the cogs from the Steampunk Dreams collection dies..

I love how this came together.. I stamped the wings and heart twice and fussy cut the heart from the second set and popped it on using 3D foam tape..

Canvas Swap - No Stress Girls Group

Hi all, 

Yep, can you believe it another swap group I am in..

This time its only four people so easy to keep track of. We decided to call the group No Stress Girls.. 

So first swap is August and the theme is Open 10 cm x 10 cm Canvas. We need to make four of them, one for each of us.. I decided to carry on my use of mixed media stuff as it was on the table waiting to be put away.. I do hope the girls like them.. 

I created six just in case i didn't like some lol

1. is a pink canvas. I used expanding mousse on the circle chipboard, I like this stuff.. The heart and Rose is from a mould I have.

The wording is from Tim Holtz Clippings..

2. is a blue theme, this time using UTEE on the chipboard.. Again the main items are from moulds I have.. 

3. and my favourite has gold
