Skateboy Tag -CC

 Hi all,

I thought I would go with what I love doing and that is a little bit of mixed media.. I started off with a piece of watercolour paper and reinkers.  

Just drag the reinker across the page in three places and spray lots of water on it and lift it up to run down the page. Let it dry, Flatten out and stamp with assorted stamps and using white embossing powder heat to melt. Stamp some doodles around the page in black ink as well. Let dry. 

Add washie tape , and sentiments using a small staple gun for the top one.. Ink around the tag in black ink then sew around the edges. Add the skaterboy topper with 3d foam tape and voila you are done. Easy Peasy!.

Pumpkin Smoothie My Besties Aussie Challenge

 Hi all, 

Oh my goodness we are in October already. Shhhh Keep this between us but I love Halloween which by the way has nothing to do with this post but I thought I would share that little secret. 

So on to what this post is about and that is to show you my new card for My Besties Aussie Challenge.

I paper pieced this little dude after stamping him for the background first. So I think I printed him about six times all together on assorted papers and fussy cut sections. He made a pumpkin smoothie.

Three Christmas Cards -Couture Creations

 Hi all,

DECK THE HALLS CHRISTMAS COLLECTION

Today is my turn on the blog and I have to say I have really enjoyed using the new Alcohol Inks with acetate for these three cards. So much fun...

Card 1. I stamped the Poinsettia stamp on to a piece of acetate with the wonderful black outline ink pad and heat set it gently. Using the gorgeous Golden Age & Pearl Alcohol Inks on Synthetic paper, I cut it down to fit on my card base. I then die cut a frame and placed it on top of the acetate sheet. I placed foam tape underneath the acetate where the frame is positioned and also the middle of the flowers. Glamourous Gold adhesive Pearls in the middle of the flowers to cover the foam tape and the card was finished..  

Card 2. I love the CO728537  Santas Sleigh Tall Card Die Set and thought it perfect for the Golden Age Alcohol Inks on Synthetic Paper. I added Mirror Foil Board underneath the die cut frame as shown. I die cut Santa's Sleigh twice from red and gold card stock and using foam tape adhered it to the front of the acetate. A star from the same die set and a stamped greeting on Mirror Foil Board and the card was done. I love this card... 

This card was so much fun.. I stamped the Seasons Greeting straight on to the acetate and coloured it in with the brilliant COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers  . I added a frame to the acetate and using foam tape adhered it to a alcohol ink background with two die cut Holly Sprigs between them. I placed this on a embossed mat then on to my base card.

Telephone / Cell Phone - Paperclip Art - October

 Hi all,  

For October, our theme in our  PaperClip Art Group FaceBook is Telephone/ Cell Phone. 

I created these old fashion phones that my mum used to own when I was a little girl..

I coloured these phones with Copic Markers..

I used with these darling phones:

Tattered Rose Distress Ink, Hello stamp and die set - Kaisercraft,

 The glue is Quick Dry Glue from Couture Creations (brilliant)

A Challenge Using four Elements..

 Hi all,

 This challenge was to make a card using four elements in the card..

1. Blue, 2. Circle, 3. Bow, 4. Sentiment

I hope I have achieved this with the card..

I used Circles Galore by Carabelle Studio, Finnabair Elements- Don't forget to fly.

I created a mother board with lots of blues distress oxide inks then using assorted stencils went over it with the same inks..

I wiped off the inks from the stencils onto a clean piece of cardstock which I stamped and cut the circles for the front of the card as well as the butterfly.

The bow I used in the middle of the butterfly with ribbon for the body.. The sentiment is 'Freedom is a state of mind'.. I used dimensional magic on the circles and the sentiment and kindy glitz on the butterfly.

Wild & Crazy Layout - MPCT

 Hi all, 

I have joined Megan's Paper Craft Treasures Design Team (MPCT) and our first challenge was to use a sketch as well as a theme for the month which was Chipboard.. 

Great sketch which I enjoyed putting together with my take on it..

This is my take on the above sketch..

I cut this chipboard in sections, inked around the edges and adhered down on to a piece of cardstock.

I placed three pieces of washie tape each side, Using stencils and blue ink I placed this over the 12 x 12 piece of cardstock. I then used the stencils and modelling paste to go around the paper and photos.

I cut/punched different circles from a piece of the same paper and added foam tape to give it some dimension.  I inked three pennents chipboard and a Loved chipboard and adhered it to the papers.

I added gems to the chipboard. You can see where I added the stencilled modelling paste here.  

Using Blue ink I covered the Wild & Crazy chipboard elements then using brown ink edged the words.. I then covered the chipboard with Dimensional Magic and after drying adhered it onto the washie tape.

I distressed around the edge of the page and inked it with blue ink.

Blossoms Card - MPCT

Hi all, 

Here I am on the blog today with Megan using the August theme 'Chipboard and a Card Sketch'.

I love this sketch for the card using chipboard as a focus and really enjoyed creating this card using bright colours and a little bling..

I have had these flower chipboard for ages and I knew this card was perfect to use one of them. 

I used a square card with an embossed white mat. I then cut a strip of paper using the same piece as the smaller heart and adhered this on the embossed mat.

Die-cutting a large black heart I adhered this using 3D foam tape. I then die cut a smaller heart and used 3D foam tape to give this dimension. After adhering the chipboard flower I added a pearl hat pin and a sentiment with tiny staples.
