Aussie G'day Layout - CC

 Hi all,

Today I am showing you a layout I completed with the wonderful Australia The Lucky Country Collection..  I scrap lifted the design from my friend Joanne, she is a wonderful crafter.. 

I used a plain white 12 x 12 cardstock for the base. Cut a 10 in x 10 in black cardstock and paper two at 9 3/4 in x 9 3/4 in, adhere as shown. The large photo mat measures at 6 in x 4 1/4 in & the three smaller mats are 31/3 in x 4 1/4 in (all black). The white mats are 1/4 in smaller and the actual photos are 1/4 smaller again.  I used the 3D foam tape to add dimension to all photos and the words as well as the Australian flag. I used one of my shaker toppers I made Toppers Here. Using two trees from the ephemera set with the 3d foam dots separating them to give depth was placed between the topper and photo with a explore chipboard on top of the trunk. 

I just love the simplicity of this layout and to me it suited the papers from this collection perfectly.

Outback Downunder layout - CC

 Hi all,

Isn't this a great bush collection and after travelling I have a ton of photos I have yet to scrap so this collection was perfect. All measurements are in inches..  I scrap lifted the design from my friend Joanne, she is a wonderful crafter..  Start with a base of 12 x 12 white, cutting black cardstock to 10 1/2 x 10 1/4 and trim Paper 1 to 10 x 10 1/2, adhere together as shown. Cut another piece of black cardstock at 8 1/4 x 11 1/2 and Paper 4 at 8 x 11 1/4 adhere as shown. 

I did add a trim but I have my banner over it lol. Frame your photos in white then on black adhering with self adhesive foam squares/dots/tape. I added the foam tape to the ephemera as well. 

I blended assorted inks on a card front then stamped the Kangaroos in the Bush sprinkling a little bit of water on top and allow to dry.. I used the Winkles to go over the tree and sky and colouring the kangaroos, (love these). I cut out my heading from Paper 5 adhering them with foam tape. I just love how simple and easy this was to put together.

Hi Tea Scrappage - CC

 Hi all, 

I wanted to show you my scrap page I created with the wonderful Vintage Tea Collection. My granddaughter loves having high tea parties so we decided to go for high tea for her birthday. This paper is ideal for the photo of us together.. I love doing simple layouts to showcase the beautiful papers and the photo. Some stamping and die cutting was all this needed really.

 I stamped the stacked cups on a few layers to give me some height but added the top layer with the vellum that comes with the collection. I added the actual name of the collection as my heading 😊

What Do You See Layout - CC

 Hi all, 

Here we are again and this time I am doing a layout using the wonderful Earthy Delights Collection from Couture Creations.. I love taking photos of strange stuff (my hubby calls it that lol) and I felt his paper called to this photo. It is from a tree trunk that I saw while travelling in our great part of the world Australia. What do you see in this? I see a Parrot other see a fish or bird or duck but for me it was instant with the parrot.

Did you know that the gorgeous (I love it) vellum paper matches the 12 x 12 papers!! Well I did not until I accidently put the vellum on the same piece of patterned paper and voila this page was born. I tilted it just a fraction as I like the 3D effect it gave me.  

Using the stencil with the collection I blended ink then using the brilliant foiling pen and gold foil (both available from Couture Creations) I drew through the stencil leaving gold bits. This became my background for the picture. I die cut the letters with the top layer using scraps from the Earthy Delights Collection.


Just love the vellum and its a great quality as well.

Australia's Natural Beauties Layout - CC

 Hi all,

I'm back today with another simple layout using the Australia's Natural Beauties Collection..

This is a great collection to use for our beautiful country Australia and of course what is a layout without a Kookaburra. I did a little bit of sewing around the page after distressing slightly. Some fussy cutting, inking around the edges and 3D foam tape and it was finished..  Don't you love that fence from an earlier collection!!

Enjoying Life Scrappage - CC

 Hi all, 

I found these two photos while I was cleaning my studio and thought I would scrap them with the CO728857 Australia's Natural Beauties Collection. I kept the embellishments to a minimum because the paper is quite busy. Using the Paperbag cardstock I die cut two frames for the photos. I die cut several white scrap ones and adhered the Paperbag one on top to give it dimension.  Taking a piece of cardstock from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and placing it under the photos helped the photos standout..

If you didn't see it there is a heart shape with the leaves and flowers on the paper, I love that.  Cutting down page 06 a 1/2 in each side allowed me to place a sheet of Paperbag cardstock behind it and sew around the edges.. All in all I really like the simplicity of this scrap page..

Smile Layout - CC

Hi all,

It has been awhile since my last post so I wanted to show you a layout I completed using the Elegance Collection. I wanted to create a very simple layout because the paper is quite busy and I think it turned out lovely..  I cut some strips of scrap paper to place behind the photo and because all the papers are wonderful they matched perfectly. I framed the photo with a foil frame which enhanced the photo immensely. 

Chipboard and some gold pearls and the page was finished. I really wanted to show you that having the  Elegance Collection kit is all you need to make a great page. 

This page is dedicated to my sister Wanda who loved roses and has recently left us.

Remember Layout - CC

 Hi all,

I have created a layout with the pretty Lavender Love Collection. The paper has a wonderful collection of lavender flowers on one side which allowed me to frame the photo off Centre. Fussy cut butterflies from the collection added a nice touch of showing how attracted they are to the flowers. A simple but elegant page using up bits and pieces I had left of the kit.. A little bit of sewing added some interest and dimension to the whiteness of the page.

Bronte Layout - CC

 Hi all,

I love this page using the wonderful Elegance Collection. The chipboard frame painted white with rough gesso framed Bronte perfectly.. Having the Foil Frames & Ephemera set makes creating anything so much easier. Well done Couture Creations in adding these to the collection...Perfect...

Fussy cutting the big foiled flower just takes the page to a different level.. I was pretty impressed with the end result of this scrappage for my friends granddaughter..  


I have to tell you that the CO728463 Glue and Resin Eraser makes all the difference between a clean layout and a marked and dirty one. Just remember to swipe and lift not rub when cleaning the glue up that accidently runs everywhere lol.. Also let the glue dry a bit before cleaning otherwise you will have glue from end to end (ask me how I know that lol).


I shaped the bucket a little with a pencil to give it a rounded look.

Delightful Scrappage - CC

 Hi all,

Me again today to showcase the wonderful Lavender Love Collection with the Delightful Scrappage..

I left this page mostly white to show the gorgeous papers off.. Pretty Pretty!!


I did emboss a piece of cardstock with the  Falling Florals DL embossing folder and wowers did it come up beautifully. 


Love this can with the lavender coming out from it and how lovely is the butterfly sitting on it. 


You can see the embossed cardstock under the photo, so nice..


That fence die is wonderful is so nice, I die cut it three times and adhered it together to give it strength.

EmmieRose Love Layout - CC

 Hi all,

Welcome and wishing you wonderful holidays. 

 I would love to showcase the gorgeous papers by Couture Creations from the Elegance Collection with a layout of my beautiful granddaughter. 

This scrappage is a 12 inch x 12 inch and I have used the foiled sheet for the background but wanted the photo to stand out so added a strip of Monarch cardstock to help with this. I then placed the doily in the centre and layered the photo on top with a foiled frame under the top corner. 

Layering pieces from the ephemera set together for an awesome flower arrangement finished the side of the layout. I added a chipboard piece with a fussy cut flower from the 6.5 inch x 6.5 inch paper book on top and added the gorgeous adhesive pearls to finish the layout off.

Memories Layout -Couture Creations

Hi all, 

HOMELY FLORALS COLLECTION

I am loving this collection from Couture Creations, it is so Australian with all our native flowers and my favourites to boot...

I created the layout using two photos I took while in the outback of Australia camping which was perfect with all of the Homely Florals Collection.. 

   After sprinkling some alcohol inks around the page and blowing them with the Alcohol Ink Blower, I adhered two die cut bases from the  CO728537 Santas Sleigh Tall Card Die Set after lightly stamping flowers on top to give some interest.


Loving the effect of alcohol inks on photo paper and acetate which I used as mats for my two photos.


I wanted to cut leaves from this little die from the CO 728664 Hugs Sentiment Die Set using the same COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers  as the flowers; so I scribbled them on plain cardstock and die cut them out..


Looking good here with the die cut banners and bow..


I coloured all the flowers and leaves with COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers and fussy cut the urn from the  CO 728658 Diecut Ephemera Set. You can see the little leaves in the background that I die cut from the scribbled backgrounds as above.. 


This stamp is quite large and I love it. I added it on a black chipboard scrap to make it pop and arranged it in a fussy cut urn. Loving the COAPC2 Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers ..


Isn't the background stamp wonderful, just a little is needed to bring the page together.
