Handbag Card

 Hi all,

Today I have created a handbag card using the gorgeous Elegance Collection. How pretty is this paper!!

I have decided to try some of my dies that I own from  Snazzie Scrappin for the next few projects, so be prepared to be bombed with shaped cards..

I used a handbag die for this card and wowers the paper was perfect. You can create a little pocket inside for a gift card or money as I have done if you choose to. I have used minimal decorations on this card as I wanted the paper to be the main focus.  Small Velcro dots under the flap and on the outside of the purse will make sure the flap stays closed.

Aim Higher My Besties January

Hi all, 

I created this adorable card for the My Besties Aussie Challenge blog January 2023 She is kind of grown up but still a little sweetheart.

Journal - It's A Brand New Day - AVSC

Hi all,
I hope you like what I created with the Box I received from the Evil Enabling Aunty Vera
 this month..
I love the wrapped Journal Die from Sizzix -Eileen Hull. There are just so many things you can create from it and I thought for it's a brand new day in January why not create one for my poetry
and stories from 2019.. 

I cut a Wrapped Journal HERE from a piece of strong cardstock and painted both sides with
Gesso HERE.
( Don't use a shim with this die as it cut all the scored lines, ask how I know this lol)

I sponged the journal with Distress Oxide Inks HERE in the order as follows:

 Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Iced Spruce, Fired Brick and Frayed Burlap.

Spray separate colours with water and dry before adding the next colour. I did this to both sides.. 

Looks Pretty don't you reckon...

I embossed a piece of brown cardstock with the 'On The Go' Texture Fades HERE by Tim Holt and cut a strip for the front of the journal.

I die cut the Credit Card Sleeve and Tags HERE by Eileen Hull in embossed dark brown 

and edged it in gold pen HERE.

A strip of washie tape HERE and a stamped coffee cup backed with 3D foam tape finished off the front.

The three tags from the Credit Card Sleeve and Tags using the stamps with the Core Products.

How great does this look together..

The inside of the right hand side of the Wrapped Journal. I stamped the coffee cup rings all over the inside of the journal. I then punched the cups (minus the handle lol) and popped them up using 3D Foam Tape over two strips of the lovely paper..

Inside of the journal. Using the same coffee stain stamp, I stamped it over the journalling card to give it a uniformed look..  A small coffee cup stamped on the flowered paper and fussy cut finishes off this side with a bit of glitter (of course)..

I cut a piece off the border paper for the front and covered it in Nuvo Crystal Drops after adding a little Kindy Glitz to her dress and lights.. I then fussy cut two tea cups (tea for me please) and popped them up using 3D Foam Tape. I also painted them with  Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Evil Enabling Box - AVSC - January 2019

Hi all,

Happy New Year, May 2019 bring you happiness and tons of laughter and love...

I cannot believe it is now 2019, Wow, 2018 seemed to just fly past didn't it!!

I have again been chosen to be on the Creative Team (CT) for Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft - AVSC

which I am stoked about..

This year however is a bit different from the last few years as we no longer have kits; instead we have 'Evil Enabling Boxes' that are made up of 'Core Products' from Aunty Vera and some products we each choose ourselves from her online store.. HERE

The difference is that you don't have to buy a kit, you can buy just one or two things or you can buy the lot, whatever you choose.. Each CT member chooses different things so there is always different products on show.. That's a brilliant idea I reckon..  AND because of that everything you purchase from Aunty Vera's store that the CT uses you get a great DISCOUNT.. Win Win..
